Considered by her peers to be one of the top trainers of harness horses in the breed, Diane Conrady has over 60 World, Grand National and Reserve Championships with such horses as SpiceOLife Present Tense GCH, Arboria Noble Victor, HRH Lacey, Brentwood Bacardi, Arboria Landmark, Arboria Perfection, Arboria Victorious and Arboria Arion.

• Biggest accomplishment with your barn in 2018 so far? – Winning both the Park Harness and Pleasure Driving Championship at the Summer Daze Regional Horse show.

• Tip for young, aspiring riders? – Pick someone that you admire whether that is a professional or an amateur and watch them when they work their horses and when they show their horses and pick up the nuances.  Don’t be afraid to ask questions.  Have fun, don’t put too much pressure on yourself.

• Something no one would guess about you – I love growing my flowers outside.  It relaxes me when I have had a hard day.

• A horse you’re most proud of – This would be the late SpiceOLife Present Tense GCH.  He was my once in a lifetime horse.  I trained him from the time he was a yearling until he passed at age 13.  He won 6 World Championships and 6 Reserve World Championships.  He is the 3rd horse in history to win both the WC Morgan Park Horse under Saddle and WC Morgan Park Harness.  Even though he passed away unexpectedly, his progeny are making names for themselves in the show ring which makes me very proud.

• Favorite Finish Line product and why – I have two actually.  The Apple-A- Day; it is great to help ensure hydration, maintain appetite, and electrolytes.  I feed it daily and it is a great product.  The other product that I love is Electrocharge – works great after showing and workouts in hot humid weather to ensure they maintain a healthy electrolyte level and improve water consumption.  In my opinion, Finish Line makes the best electrolyte products out on the market today.
