Recent discussions and regulatory developments surrounding Kava-containing ingredients have underscored the evolving compliance landscape within the performance horse industry. As regulatory guidance regarding Kava has become more clearly defined — including recent actions in California and updated HIWU guidelines — in 2025, Finish Line® Horse Products had proactively begun developing an updated EasywillowTM formulation designed to align with emerging regulatory standards across multiple jurisdictions.
To support our customers and industry partners, Finish Line® is pleased to introduce a reformulated Kava-free EasywillowTM .
Beginning in June 2026, Finish Line Horse Products will begin distribution of the updated EasywillowTM formulation. The new formula maintains the same core ingredients and concentrations as the original product, with the exception of Kava-Kava, which has been removed.
EasywillowTM is a daily supplement formulated to support horses experiencing temporary minor stiffness and soreness associated with overexertion. The product continues to provide a balanced blend of antioxidants and herbal ingredients that horse owners and trainers have trusted for years.
