By doing so, we want others to know what being a member really means. "Membership confers an expectation of quality assurance for consumers and regulators" as explained on the NASC website, http://www.nasc.cc/ and by being a member, we work to keep quality and excellence in the horse industry.

Our horses needs vary and with research initiatives combined by members, we can keep clinical data of safety and efficacy for certain active ingredients available. It is important to keep novel ingredients and supplements approved. As stated best from the NASC website: "It is the goal of NASC for the Council and its members to clearly become the leading experts on quality and safety in animal supplements."
